The Investor and Financial Education Council's (IFEC) suite of interactive tools provide you with free analysis and action plans for budgeting, saving, investing, handling debt, understanding and improving your net worth or planning for your retirement etc, to help you put your financial plan in action.  Click IFEC website for more information. To support your family, you are strongly advised to plan your finance early and properly. Simple ways include monitoring your cash flow, managing your debts and reducing unnecessary expenses. Integrated Family Service Centres, operated by the Social Welfare Department and subvented non-governmental organisations (NGOs), provide referral service for those who need financial assistance. Social Welfare Department has commissioned eight NGOs to operate short-term food assistance service projects covering the whole territory to help individuals and families with difficulties in coping with daily food expenditure. The eight NGOs and the localities to be served are as follows:
