The next morning, Heidi returns to the classroom.  What will she do?

On the night of that day she got back the test paper, Heidi feels very upset.  She, having trouble staying asleep, ends up tossing and turning in bed and dreams a bizarre dream of coming across an angel and a devil.

The angel speaks softly to Heidi, "I look forward to tomorrow and hope to go with you to school.  Then let's apologise and explain to the teacher and Ka Ka what happened.  Surely they will forgive you!"

The devil stands aloof, sneering, and says, "Heidi, you always aspire to score full marks, don't you?  You don't mean to hand them over just like that, do you?"

The angel, disapproving of the devil, told Heidi, "Not a chance!  Honesty comes before results!"

The devil scorns in response, "Who cares if you are honest or not?"

In like manner, the angel and devil carry on their banter before Heidi until the next morning when the alarm goes off….

Heidi ponders, her thoughts in turmoil, "It's nearly time for school.  What should I do actually?"

At the same instant, Daddy knocks on the door to wake Heidi, "Heidi, rise and shine, time for school!  How about Daddy taking our dearest Heidi to school today?  Our Heidi has grown up enough to take it on herself to solve problems.  Daddy has faith in you.  You surely can make it!"

This brings Heidi to an epiphany.  She replies determinedly, "Daddy, I think I know how to go about it!"  Then, Daddy and Heidi go to school hand in hand.

Back at school, Heidi goes to the Staff Room at once to make a clean breast of it to the teacher and Ka Ka.  She gives her most sincere apologies to them and asks them to forgive her for the rashness.

The teacher and Kaka do not blame Heidi.  Instead, they appreciate her for being forthright and honest.  Knowing that Heidi wishes a lot for good grades at school, Kaka more often invites Heidi to join her for revision.

At last, after putting in much hard work, Heidi succeeds in scoring full marks for the first time ever.  When the school day has ended, she runs home to Daddy in great joy.  As soon as coming back home from school, she squeals with confidence, "Daddy, I made it finally!"
